The Dr. Phillips High School Theatre Magnet is an award winning, internationally recognized department of the Visual and Performing Arts Magnet at Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando, FL. The aim of the department is to provide students with a comprehensive theatrical education and produce well-rounded theatre practitioners. This is achieved through a rigorous academic curriculum, exposure to a wide range of dramatic literature and criticism, and multiple performance, technical, and directional opportunities in and out of the classroom.

Throwback: our back hallway was painted to include all the past productions of DP theatre. This was a legacy project designed by Meg Walko (‘01) and Jenny Brown (‘01) and continued throughout the years until the renovation. Unfortunately, these originals were lost during the renovations but DP still continues this tradition on today.
