Due to a special event at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, ALL classes, services, events and college activities at Nassau Community College scheduled at or after 1:45 p.m. tomorrow, Wednesday, September 18, 2024, will be CANCELED.

Students, faculty and staff should have their college IDs available or their parking permit visible upon entrance to campus for classes and activities prior to 1:45 p.m. Public Safety will be checking for ID and permits at these entrances. Please also anticipate heavy traffic in the area.

NICE bus routes will also be affected. For up-to-the-minute information on NICE bus route changes, please visit nicebus.com/.

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, NCC’s LA CASA (Latin American Center for Academic Success and Achievement) is excited to co-host the Latinx Arts Festival & Book Fair, titled "Empowered!"
The event is a collaboration between LA CASA at Nassau Community College, Cuentos de Triadas Inc., Nassau County Office of Hispanic Affairs, LILTA, Westbury Memorial Public Library and Mujeres que Se Atreven.

The three-day festival, running from October 10-12, 2024, aims to celebrate and honor the rich traditions of Hispanic Heritage Month through the dynamic expressions of Latinx, Hispanic, and Afro-Latinx cultures. The event will offer an immersive experience showcasing the vibrant artistry of local authors, visual artists, musicians, and performers.
